Street Trackin'

I am selling my 72 SL350 Honda. I got it a while back mostly stock, and made a few cuts here, some welds there, and came up with the machine you see in front of you. I really dig the bike, and it is a blast to ride (especially on corners), but it's time to move on. It has a modestly long tech sheet, so inquire for the details. Here's a craigslist ad I made up for it yesterday. I'm asking 2500, but negotiable, especially with quad cam trades.

Melted Face.

A while back a good old fashioned "swap" deal was struck. In exchange for one of my lights, I got my tank painted. I sent FRED a nice light, and a tank I had laying around and he worked his magic. Needless to say I was speechless when the tank arrived. I had it sitting on my mantle for a while, just staring at it for long periods of time. I needed to put a more mellow fender on my bike if I had a chance at pulling off the wild tank, so I got my new ribbed aluminum 7MW  fender on there. Tonight this is where I am at.

Triple Bypass.

Take some Tater Tots, and spread evenly enough to fill bottom of a greased glass baking dish. Bake in a 400˚ oven for 10 minutes, flip over. Bake 10 more minutes. Top with one can of your favorite chili. Bake 5 more minutes. Top with one generous handful of your favorite shredded cheese, then top with 1/4 of medium yellow or white onion, diced. Bake 5 more minutes. Top with dollops of sour cream. Eat. Die Young.

Going out of Business Sale!

Not really. But I just put up a ridiculous (for me) amount of stuff on that auction site. I went to a crappy swap meet today, but somehow pulled some heavy goods out of it. I found an old Indian MOTOLAMP headlight, some early "beat-up-perfectly"Anderson pegs, and a couple of weirdo lights. I put up a sweet armored cast tank headlight, a cool louvered Per-Lux, and a sweet BLC that looks like Stewie Griffin's head. Also ended up throwing another brass S&M light on there. This is the 855 model, about 7" wide. I am inching closer to that new bike. Mmmmm gennie shovel.

Good to Go.

Here is a NICE all copper light I just finished. It has the H4 conversion. Nice orange lens, which has a good contrast to the pink-brown hues of the copper. I have a similar copper headlight on my bike, and it has turned the pleasing color of an nicely worn penny. It is in perfect shape and ready to ship.

Up Next.

Just finished this one. It is a 7" all-brass S&M. I put in the Halogen hi-lo, so it's got some juice....very bright. Aged brass outside, a yellow lens, and a brass reflector inside makes for a pretty cool monotone. light that would look good on a variety of bikes, but look best on a simple, understated chop. Going on ebay on Sunday night. Cheers.
